About Us & What We Strive For

The mission of the Heirloom Inn is to provide quality health care while actively encouraging the philosophy of aging in place. Aging in place is the process by which a person experiencing physical or mental decline decides to choose the place they want to live.

We want to ensure a person’s transition to our senior living is smooth. That’s why we offer a wide range of services to increase, adjust, or compensate for the physical or mental decline of our residents.

Heirloom Inn offers an array of coordinated personal and health care services, available 24 hours a day to residents who have been assessed as needing such services. Our team promotes resident self-direction and participation in decisions that emphasize choice, dignity, privacy, individuality, and independence—delivered in a non-institutionalized setting.

The Philosophy Underlying the Approach to the Delivery of Services Is to Focus on Fostering the:

Maintenance of the existing level of the individual’s capabilities and facilitating the use of the identified capabilities.
Creation of options that enable the individual to exercise control over their life.
Provision of support which validate the self-worth of the individual through an emphasis on courtesy and respect for individual rights.
Continuation of shared living space when individuals living together have levels of health care requirements that are different from each other.
Acceptance of the shared responsibility and risk associated with the type of independence that assisted living promotes.
Physical maintenance of areas or spaces for the purpose of providing privacy.
Recognition of the individual’s needs and preferences, having the flexibility in the delivery of service to respond to those identified needs and preferences.

Our Mom was in Heirloom Inn for 1 1/2 years before her passing. Kelly did an excellent job as being the administrator. She always took the time to explain things and treated us as family.

Jodi, the staff aides, kitchen people, were excellent. Our Mom received the best care possible. But beyond that, everyone made my Mom part of a great family and she felt everyone was her family.

We can not express our gratitude enough for the care she received. Even though Mom is gone, we will always feel part of your family.

Our experience with the Heirloom Inn in all areas were satisfying in what were trying times. The long range negotiations to have our Mother admitted were easy to complete. Kelly was helpful in helping us select a room for our Mother and our Mother was very pleased with the accommodations. The staff was very open and supportive regarding our Mother’s health and responded quickly when the situation called for it. The ambiance, food and personal care and services are excellent. The facility is very nice and was well maintained over the 3+ years that our Mother resided there.

I would not hesitate to recommend your facility to anyone. Kelly is a pleasant person and this attitude permeates throughout the entire staff.

The support extended to the family after our Mother’s passing was excellent.
